Dear Mom and Grandpa,
I want to start off by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys have been there for me and helped me when I needed it. I cannot believe how time goes by, it felt like I was in middle school not that long ago. Well I am pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor I can remember when I told you both that I wanted to become one. You both told me to stay focused and do not let anybody or anything stop me. I thought that I was going to be at college for no more than ten years, boy was I wrong. I am in my second year of college still taking all the general ed and major classes that I need to transfer. I have decided to major in Biology and have a minor in Ministry. I also decided that I want to transfer to UC San Diego with a AA degree. Talking to counselors has helped me know what classes that I need to take. Most of the time that I will be spending at Fullerton College is focusing on Math and Science classes such as Physics, Calculus, Statistics and many more. When I get to UC San Diego I will be focusing more on getting in to Med School. For many years I debated what kind of doctor that I would like to be I went from wanting to become a Surgeon, to a Pediatrician. How did that happen? Well I took a Child Development class my senior year of high school and I was interested a Pediatrician does on a typical day. I had a chance of doing more research on becoming a Pediatrician and I loved it. Well I know you both are happy to hear that I am still in school with all the things going on, but I thank God that I have you guys there for me.
